Last updated: 27 August 2026

Hermes is a private personal assistant operated by one individual for personal use. It has no other users and is not offered as a service.

What it accesses

With explicit Google account consent, Hermes accesses Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs and Contacts belonging solely to the account owner.

How the data is used

Message content, including senders, subject lines and message bodies, is summarised into a daily briefing delivered to a private Telegram channel belonging to the same person.

Storage and sharing

Data is processed on a private server. Message content is sent to a large language model provider in order to generate the summary. Data is not sold and is not shared with any other third party.

Retention and revocation

No copy of message content is kept after a briefing is delivered. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page.
